Pure UBU
Award winning Pure UBU is a well balanced full flavoured amber ale, named after our faithful canine friend, Tess. Often found lazy around the Farm, she affectionately earnt the nickname ‘Useless Bloody Urchin’ shortened to UBU and a beer was named in her honour. Pure UBU pairs perfectly with Nicholson’s 10oz Sirloin Steak.
Pure Gold
Award winning Pure Gold is a refreshing, crisp and zesty golden ale, inspired by our noisy farmyard rooster. Wired up a little differently, he crows at sunset rather than sunrise which signals the end of another great day brewing and time for a well earnt beer. Pure Gold pairs perfectly with Nicholson’s Grilled fillet of Salmon.
Mad Goose
Award winning Mad Goose is a zesty pale ale with a refreshing citrus finish, inspired by our own feathered fearsome friend. Her hiss was far worse than her bite, except around mating season when it was best to stay inside for another well earnt beer. Mad Goose pairs perfectly with Nicholson’s Hunter Chicken.
Longhorn
Longhorn is a distinctive, full bodied Rye IPA brewed to perfection with plenty of character, just like the magnificent cattle that graze on our farm and feed on our finest spent grain. To create the finest beers, you need the finest quality ingredients, and this philosophy extends to our farm animals too. The thoroughbred cattle that roam free on our rolling hills, are the inspiration for our unfiltered rye IPA. Longhorn takes the best characteristics of the classic American IPA; enticing hop aromas, sweet rye malt and decisive bitterness to produce a beer that is bred to perfection. Longhorn Rye IPA pairs perfectly with Nicholson’s Classic Burger.
Bunny Hop
Bunny Hop is a beer full of inspiration, brewed in tribute to the rabbits that nearly knocked our founder Paul off his bike leading to the discovery of our home, Spernall Farm, where the Purity story began. Life is full of obstacles and at Purity we see obstacles as opportunities, but sometimes you just need a little luck and inspiration to set you on your way. Bunny Hop is an extra pale, extra hoppy and extra flavoursome beer brewed with precision and pronounced bitterness to get you over the bumps (and rabbits) on the road of life. Bunny Hop is perfectly matched to Nicholson’s Wholetail Whitby Scampi.
Saddle Black
Whether you are a rider on the open road, a muddy track or the tireless commute, this gnarly, bold Black IPA delivers vibrant aromas, roasty malt flavours and finishes with a delicious bitter bite as exciting and rewarding as your best day in the saddle. Saddle Black is the perfect accompaniment to Nicholson’s Belgian Chocolate Brownie.
